What is the Replacer database? Technically, not a database.
It is a text file that contains names of variables and the text
associated with them, so let's call it a description file.
For example:

Also we need to list file extensions - we do not want to replace
something in the GIF files by accident! To do it we place the
mandatory first line (it can me multiline) in the description file:

The Source File field is for the description file and the Target
Directory field is for the directory that contains files to be
modified.

When you do aggressive search engine positioning it is very
important to know how high your web site is ranked by the
Search Engines. Ideally you want to be able to find out on which
of the SE result page is your web site located - if it is there at
all ;)

To do it by hand you need to perform the following series of
operations:

For each keyword combination (for example from the META KEYWORDS
of your Web page) perform the search in each of the SE you are
trying to position your site with.

First, it will provide you with the positions (page numbers)
for all your keyword combinations. The list is unsorted, as all
SE are presented in one table. If the page was not found, the
100 is assigned as the number of page.

Then (scroll down) you have separate sorted lists for each SE
that you specified.

With this tool you can change your site, re-submit and easily find
out what is the effect of changes (keep in mind that site must

The "Description file" is a file that contains strings to be sent
to the Search Engines. The following is an entire file that I
used to produce the sample output mentioned above. Also notice that the
Overture
lines are in slightly different format - if the word Overture is
in angle brackets, it is ignored by SE ranking tool as it is
used for the SE keyword optimization tool. To create a description
for Overture that can be used by SE ranking tool, simply follow

The first line in description file contains the name of the Search
Engine as it will
appear in the program's output file.

The second line is more interesting. Here is how it was created.
First I started the Web Browser and went to Google. Then I performed
a search for the (quoted as I only need exact combinations)
sample text, like "nlp hypnosis". Then I clicked the page 2.
The reason for going to page 2 is that the default URL for page 1
sometimes is simplified - the page number is not there.

In case of Google the URL of the page 2 looks like this:

I then replaced the start=10 with start=0 and bingo - it gives us
the first page:
