The flow chart - at least one described in this manual - consists of
Shapes (rectangles, triangles, circles and so on), and
Connectors (lines, arrows) that connect them.

Shapes and connectors have different properties, for example, you
can type a text into the rectangular area (a Shape), but not into
the connector. To make it less confusing, the program will only
enable controls (buttons, combo boxes, check boxes and edit fields)
that are applicable to the selected element. So when you see that
some elements suddenly turned grey, don't worry. You can enable
them again by clicking on the Shape or a Connector that you want
to change.

can be used to create a new element. Click on any button
EXCEPT for the last one (see below) - and a new shape will

Note two litthe rectangular handles. You can use them to move the
connector around. If you want to hide the handles, simply click
on the area outside the connector:

Let's start with bending a connector. Click on it, to make little
rectangular handles visible, and drag them, so that the connector
changes it's form

Moving a connector to another connection point

To move a connector, for example, to another side of a Shape, or to
a different Shape, you need to click at the connector, as close to the
Shape as possible. Then, holding a mouse button down, drag the
Connector's end. The little rectangle will appear at the end
of the mouse cursor, and will move with it.

To change the number of handles, you can use one of the combo boxes
on the bottom, saying "Number of dragpoints"

Connector. To do it, you need to select the image you want from

First of all, both Connector and Shape can have different colors,
and they also can be displayed using lines of different width.
To do it, you simply need to select a property you need, just
keep in mind, that the object (Shape or Connector) must be
selected first.

the text. As you type it, it will appear inside the Shape

be displayed. However, it will still be visible as a tooltip,
